Dating outside ones age group always present with some kind of conflicts. Wicked has over a decade between herself and the man that she had been spending time with, their fun and stimulating conversation agreed upon their very similar believe and opinions on social issues, she never feel like yarning when spending time with him (which happened to other men before), given she always stay up late working on a new spell.
One day he walked pass a police car double parking on a busy city street for a burger, he stopped and polietly commented to the policeman that he was not setting a correct example. The policeman then said "Do you have anything better to do?", ironicly the policeman was not stopping a crime at that point in time. Wicked's friend is standing up as an everyday civilian who wants things to be right, but he is also a grumpy old man who is too stubborn with being right.
What they have in common is that they both think too much, and also being very stubborn to what they believe: he exercises what he believes in, and Wicked is a younger woman who is developing herself and trying to be happy. Wicked Bitch is a wicked bitch and some day he will discover her wicked activities (don't ask what they would be!) and we can be sure that these would be worse than a policeman's double parking.
The effort between the two was successfully constructed, but the generation gap slowed down the traffic like there is a police car blocking what should've been a highway, without correct signage you never know if you are breaking the laws, and with no rule books no one can tell you how many times you can break the law before losing your licence.
The fear of losing her license, expectation and sexpectation, is a sign that Wicked may want this friendship to step to the next level, with no clear explaination of the relationship or potential expiry in the future, some may say it is a waste of time to invest in a persudo relationship, which theoritically can be interpreted as friendship with extras; Some day in the future Wicked will probably regret for not pushing this relationship to the next level, but she know they are enjoying themselves, because she is a woman who tries, and he tries for her in return.
Dating anyone can present with some kind of conflicts, so as long as it feels right, how wrong can it be?
