Our insignificant normal everyday lives... We are 5 individuals who have little stories from time to time, work, love or blah blah blah. We try to map ourselves, try to have some fun, and try to know and get what we wanted in this fragment piece in time - Things change and can change in the blink of an eye. Like most people, if we find our way in this world and feel comfortable about it, that would be fine; In a way we disregard conventional labelling that people use to "make social life easy", we're not social extremists so sometimes we do conventional things just like everyone else, because we are trying to do it right, or do it right for ourselves, with the knowledge we learn about right or wrong along, we try to find our happiness.
The way is long, some are leaving Never-Ever Land, some are staying; along the way we tell stories we know, our record of how we find our way to be happy.
John-asmine came to Never-Ever Land as a simple down to Earth young girl whom in an extend too simple for her friends to map her place in their heart (at the beginging). Then she morph into a chameleon and change herself into her surroundings or taking aspects of people she met, most of them are good people, but occasionally she taken bits from some nosy think-they-are-above-the-Earth people, they may think they are high and mightily, most of the time they're just high; and most of them are essentially glorified shop keepers - sometime its hard to understand why they behave the way they do.
After the big crash with the man whom she once engaged with, she found deeper friendship with childhood friend P-Yiona and found a new path, which happens to be overseas. The bitches miss her, but they know she is happier than she was. And one day she will find the man she wants, wherever it may take place.
White Mulan will follow her intuition and pursue her happiness in Japan again in a few months. She is going to make a few bitches divastated (or devastated), but if she wants to re-pursue a place that made her happy, she is entitled to do so and the divastated bitched better hand in their support like they did for John-asmine. Mulan and Wicked met 6 years ago at an university gathering, shortly after her return from 3 years in Japan, although it is well awared that we are no longer the university student whom can make friends with just about anyone, but it is widely believed that life take people to different directions and we make the corresponding effort to anchor ourselves to the things we want in life: friends,career, love and everything else.
Although being born in Never Ever land; but Mulan felt living in Never Ever land limited her career and only provided her a somehow staled love life; while from past experience and the knowledge of Japan's mentality, she feel such country would be more suitable for her, she should try and pursue what make her happy, and at this point in her life, it is to be comfortable of her surroundings.
Let's talk about those who stays.
Caurora met Caffine a few months after her previous long term relationship ended, because the person Caurora used to date was a mutual friend to most of the group, his popularity in an extend generate a strange vibe for Caffine, or some might had seen Caurora as the villain. Caurora is a simple girl, just like John-asmine she wants to find a partner that she grow (old) with, living a conventional life and be good. So being somehow branded as the bad bitch made her feel uncomfortable, not everyone found villain treatment amusing like Wicked do. However, skepticism surrounding Caurora and Caffine became advantage to their relationship. They collaborated and work on everything bit by bit to a point that they are now living together.
Work wise she is also happy, she got out of the crazy work situation and with Caffine's support, she is now working part time and use other time to work on her home business. There is a danger to bitches like that sometime - women who think they got everything becoming condescending towards others who don't define themselves "on the same level", these women also get fixated on social labelling, living a life as a man's trophy, this usually happen to women whom got married young. But life is more than crossing such "finishing line", happy have layers.
It has been a long 6 years for Wicked. From wild, sexy single, to cuddly, committed couple she’s been through a lot, but the adventure is far from over. On a recent cocktail catch-up with the original gang (Wicked, Caurora and Mulan), Wicked confessed that she’d been having thoughts about how things have turned out. “It’s just not the same” she lamented. “I used to get sex whenever I wanted it, and now I’m lucky if it’s twice a week!” Caroura and Mulan couldn’t help but laugh! “Twice a week, and you’re complaining?”
It seemed as though Wicked is having some issues with being attached. Although they didn’t have all the answers, Mulan and Caroura were happy to shed a little light on the situation. Although Chrisyero may not be Don Juan in the bedroom, he can hold a decent conversation,
he’s sweet, caring and he truly does give a shit. Despite a few short-comings, he’s what one might term ‘a catch’. As Caroura said “At the end of the day, you can go down on as many men as you like, but is that going to make you happy in the morning? Having someone around who not only stays the night, but makes breakfast the next morning ; someone who remembers your birthday and calls you “just to say hello”; someone who knows you like one sugar in your coffee; someone who’s there for you; now that’s happiness.”
And so maybe Wicked may need to buy a few more double DD batteries for her ‘personal massager’, but isn’t the compromise worth it? Maybe it is, and maybe it’s not, but at the very least it’s worth a try. Isn’t that just the beginning of another adventure?
A man who tries worth 7/10 already, and a man who try to be better after making big mistakes perhaps worth even more. The story between RoAriel and Chaddy may not be as epic and dramatic like Carrie's in Sex and the City, but the witty, direct and loving character that RoAriel is certainly match up to Carrie.
They did hurt each other before, there's no point to pretend that didn't happen. But Chaddy
changed himself and the fire in their relationship is still burning like it was at the beginning, was it chemical reaction or was it just RoAriel and Chaddy, there's no need to find out, as the way RoAriel is, she is a simple girl looking for a partner for life, someone she can connect to while wrestling with heavy workload (of a stable career). After giving the relationship a chance, it works and it is working well, and yes, her life is stable, and being stable is RoAriel's own key to happiness.
Happy is an abstract word, happy is abstract.
Every bitch is different, every bitch is looking for something that make them happy; although what make a person happy can change over time, but as long as there's a point in time that one is happy, it is worthwhile.
Sometime happiness came from knowing oneself is moving on, and the priceless friendship with an old friend who is happy to take this adventure with you;
sometime you thought you found it years ago, bring it back to your home, and realise it didn't work and need to revisit and find it again, that is fine, as long as you're not faking it;
sometime you believe you found it, built it out of obstacles and nest around it, it is ok to do so but don't forget there are extra layers in life that one can discover;
sometime you determined to focus on the layers in life, to find happiness within yourself and decided to stay single, and suddenly someone came up and show you there's more, and you must try to diversify your own mentality (without losing yourself), and discover the layers of happiness as in being part of a couple;
And sometimes, it is simple, just be happy, although there were flaws along the history, but the notion to try feeling happy, is simple.
People are different, and no one should expect other people to be the same, it is a blessing that the bitches are happy with each other (virtually with John-asmine). For our little insignificant lives, from 5 different angles, we learnt that happiness come in different shapes and sizes, and it can come from work, it can come from love, it can come from the blah blah blahs.
