Fairy Tell Bitches, season 1 - 6 (2008 - 2012)

Perhaps a "Spin Off" - Art2Public Blog by the writer of Fairy Tell Bitches - AUG 2012

After asking so many questions over the years, perhaps we finally have the courage to ask ourselves What is love?

Years since they first met, Wicked Bitch, White Mulan, Caurora, RoAriel and John-asmine all became their own woman and found their own path, the 6 seasons of stories recorded their lives from 2008 until 2012. 4 years of tiny fragments of these women's lives, there are so much to happen and should there be any new stories to tell, the bitches shall return...

Crisis Maybe

(True Friendship never go out of style. Part 2)

For the past year the bitches spent a lot of time apart. Caurora works hard for her money and setting up a small business alongside her current job, she works very hard because she realise the mid-management thing didn't work for her, she can't play villain at work (previous episode), she enjoyed the promotion but she don't like the aftertaste for being assumed as the only person who does the dirty job, which made it looked like a hoax promotion after all. Has the business running the way it should? she don't care anymore - its a deflated job and she wanted out, only reality is she is still paying off a holiday with Caffine, she done a perhaps smart step to self-demote to part time and step down from the situation; at the same time she started working part time for a new company, she's trying out and see if it can become a full time possibility, if it works, she's leaving the old job entirely, fingers crossed for her.

Caurora's Macaroon skill always amaze people, it became a party favourite at Mulan's birthday and an idea popped up - making the skill a small moonlighting business! In this environment we all know putting a full on business out there is an idea that one need to risk and endure for a long time before any sign of pay-off. But a small home baking business may give one a small income and result in better career flexibility. If Wicked can work freelance and have 4 jobs at the same time, 3 wouldn't be too hard for Caurora perhaps.

Chaddy's work project overseas is going to be shorten because of his strong progression, great news for RoAriel, she had been dying to see him.
A week ago she was visiting: they had a nice dinner, walking along the beautiful streets, dessert. Before Chaddy knows RoAriel threw him into the bed as they arrived her hotel room - let's say they both had a really intense cardio exercise. Only problem is, the more she got the more she wants. (Now that's a sign of a good relationship)

She is concerned about the bitches tho, she told Wicked, When they started to hang out they used to go out every other week, then it becomes once a month, and now its hard to find chances to see everyone... This problem became more visible especially when Chaddy is away. It seems like RoAriel is on I-Miss-You mode lately, Wicked suggests, perhaps its a good time for all of them to try to reconnect and spend more time together, starting with Wicked's birthday. Wicked said she don't mind bigger presents.

Mulan yelled out an issue - are the bitches falling apart? Since moving out she saw Caurora less than ever, compare to their successful flatmate dynamic they are definitely not doing so well when it comes to being former flatmates. Caurora only caught up with Mulan when there are mail to collect. Mulan is a passionate bitch and she know her friends are important to her, every bitch plays a role in her psyche and the diminishing slight of Caurora and John-asmine (previous episode) made her concern about what the friendship meant to the others.

What Mulan experiencing is the beginning of a test to a strong friendship, like a mega hit TV show passing its red-hot stage and plateau on a slightly lower level, but still pretty good. Different from TV show is that friendships are real, true friendships require effort and connection from every party to make things work. The distracted life diverting Caurora (career) and John-asmine (other friends with common problem) from the bitches, one must give Mulan credit for her devotion to her friends regardless of her busy life. The test for Mulan, Caurora and John-asmine is, whether what the distractions in life may be, changes and different stages in lives, what friendship means and how much are they prepared to invest into the friendship, and that's how true friendship work differently from a TV show, it ripples up and down but the bond will always be there.

Wicked is looking at things on the bright side tho, knowingly RoAriel and Mulan care and miss what they had before; and Caurora's initiative to share her career goal - The bitches still care a lot. In order to defeat doubt, we need to get pass the reality that (unfortunately) the care-free joy of early 20s is no longer there: careers, relationship(s) and other friendship that we need to juggle (and seriously, do you think the clueless early 20s was that fun? - OK its was fun but not comparable to the fabulous-ness now). Although the ability to hang-out like the single girls* we were 6 years ago have changed, but the essence of the friendship and the notion of wanting to care and spend time with each other is still there, its good to know.

Identifying a crisis (slight melodramatic to call it a crisis) is a good thing, it didn't just acknowledge a problem, it also shown the potential of this to be a very long friendship, as for now, the bitches need to find a new dynamic that is equally satisfying than before.

* When the bitches first met not everyone were single at the time
