Peterhontas is now super busy, ever since her sex change she had set aside a large amount of her time investing on her career. But as we all know, fate was playing the usual trick and interested parties were expressing themselves to Peterhontas: she is juggling (platonically) between a number of men. Her schedule is under pressure, but it is good for her, because she had moved on...Few months ago Peterhontas was a new bitch entering Never Ever Land with a broken heart. If a person is having a heart operation, it is reasonable to bombard the doctor with questions: What is the problem; what are the solutions, would the operation bring side effects? ... Many questions can be asked until the patient is wheeled into the operating room.
A broken heart is different kind of surgery, how many questions can we ask?
What has happened is what has happened, if we think from Peterhontas's ex's side, it must had not been easy for him neither; if the relationship worked, they would've still be together, no one with the right mind enjoy ending relationships, but more importantly, there's no point reopening wounds.
How mature a bitch in her 20s is when it comes to battling the ghost of past relationships? Are we trying to be mature and make things happen because we want to be civilised? Do we have strong enough mental power to avoid judgement and stay objective? Even if we are mature enough, can we act childish, let it loose and free ourselves from all the "shoulds"?
Peterhontas was facing a lot of trouble, but at the end of the day friendship was optional, and she was giving it a try. So is her ex, and the friends (including those whom judged them before)
Perhaps this should be the saying: For good friendships to grow, respect each other, respect herself and truly listen to her heart. It is rare cases that ex-es become best friends immediately after break-up; the luckiest ex-es usually managed to be friends after a lengthy period of time, but if the ex-es respects each other, the friends and the new partners, if they be true to themselves and true to their heart. It is all bridge over troubled waters (or Wicked's version: "Trouble Bitch is Underwater"#), something good will come.
It is safe to say what Peterhontas and the ex are doing the right thing. Let's take our time, shall we?
# Bridge over trouble waters was a song, also a reference that trouble are solved and tensions eased.

Wicked has a similar take on this saying: "Trouble Bitch is Underwater": if you drown the bitch whom caused all your troubles, the effect should be the same...
