Life is, technically speaking, easier than 20 years ago, and if you would like to see what is outside the window, it is recommended to install a scenery screen saver.

A friend of Wicked told her, in an unfortunate coincidence, he needed to put a guest to wait on his apartment's rooftop for 15 minutes. Wicked was not concern about why but she was curious that this guest sent SMS saying "Still waiting..." every 3 minutes to his phone.
The SMSs might'd been a way to get even for the wait, or the guest was scared to be
alone. Wicked been to the rooftop before, it is a well designed desert theme space with really comfortable undercover seating area, beautiful during the day and amazing subliminal city view at night. If Wicked was put into such location she would ask for a glass of Merlot and won't return in 30 minutes.
The next morning she decided to go for a walk around her neighbourhood, listening to her ipod and strolling along the street and she realise she have to switch off the music and really enjoy the lovable and quiet post-x'mas morning. As she was listening to the music, she was missing out in what is really around her - Of course it is nice to listen to sex and the city movie soundtrack vol 2, but it is not everyday like a morning after x'mas that the street is safe and quiet, everyone's surviving their hangover in bed and Wicked was lucky to be able to get up early to experience this busy quietness, it is great to be by herself at that point.
Our world is filled with beautiful gadgets that every minute in your life, we are occupied by either people or material, it is particularly serious in the MTV raised generation that we are unable to look at what is around us but we are too busy sending SMS or listening to music. Plenty of children got ran over by a bus because they are too busy playing video games instead of looking when crossing the road.
Its not about hugging a tree or speak to the most random person possible like a psychotic bitch. But it is about the Me time to really catching up with yourself.
When having so much so many enjoyable gadget and countless people to meet, spending time with oneself seems to be a weird experience that one can never comprehend. Perhaps the person whom sent "Still waiting" SMS means "Don't let me get me".
