Fairy Tell Bitches, season 1 - 6 (2008 - 2012)

Perhaps a "Spin Off" - Art2Public Blog by the writer of Fairy Tell Bitches - AUG 2012

After asking so many questions over the years, perhaps we finally have the courage to ask ourselves What is love?

Years since they first met, Wicked Bitch, White Mulan, Caurora, RoAriel and John-asmine all became their own woman and found their own path, the 6 seasons of stories recorded their lives from 2008 until 2012. 4 years of tiny fragments of these women's lives, there are so much to happen and should there be any new stories to tell, the bitches shall return...

Another Cup of Coffee

Mulan's dating life has been very active. She is wide open for business! (Ewww! Can you be less graphical?) She went on a date with someone younger, around Wicked's boyfriend's age, unfortunately he had a very negative view of the world: Sometimes for young people's transition to the real world, their view changed into severely negative perhaps because they felt like their dream view had been shattered and start rejects the world. That's what this guys was. Knowing whatever she said he'd turn into something indigestibly negative she decided to leave him alone, she's mature enough to not being affected by his negativity, but she don't want that with her dinner.

The week after she agreed to go out with a man same age as her. He got it: funny, good looks, positive outlook in life. But perhaps too positive that he don't see that anything can be bad: He is in an open relationship, but his girlfriend doesn't know it yet, in other word, cheating. It looks like he don't respect his women, so she walked off, which is a powerful gesture to show this man how a bitch respect themselves.

As walking home Mulan can't help to wonder, what's wrong with their generation? Young or old, single or taken, there can always something she can not digest. Is it because she set her bar too high? Or is it because she is clinging onto something good in the past and unable to move on?

The question marks stopped growing when she walked into her weekend love a month ago (previous episode). He looked at good as she remembers, and without her knowing, he think the same too. He asked her to join him for a cup of coffee and they walked off together...

Pouring another cup of coffee Johnasmine is stressing in front of her fortune teller. This is the 2nd one she went to this week. She is nervous about her wedding, she wants it to be perfect but there're too many variables which felt like a very bad butt plug.

Meanwhile Aladdin have Johnasmine's mom's friend on his back, literally, carrying this person up the stairs because her mom told him to. She had been holding her blessing as hostage against the couple, threatening to shout "objection" during their ceremony, so he think if he does everything she want, she will come around.

Back in the fortune teller's tent, Johnasmine was told "you're holding on something for too long." And before she let her inner voice to tell her what it is, there is a louder voice from within screaming, "I forgotten the jeweller's meeting!!!" she scream and dashed out of the fortune teller's tent. (Why do they have to use a tent?)

After fixing the plumbing system underneath a building belongs to Johnasmine's mom's other friends, he quickly join her fiance at the jewellery boutique to check on their rings - he had it tailored to Johnasmine. It did not cost much but it symbolised their relationship. As he arrive he realise her mom replaced his ring with something that looks like shit but her mom wants it because it's good to show off to her relatives. Then he politely tell her off "I don't care what you think and what you're going to do at the ceremony, I am marrying your daughter, with my ring." Her mom is stunned, and she walked out from the jewellery boutique.

Johnasmine looked at Aladdin, she realise the big picture that she really missed - the true big picture is that love is the root of her relationship. It is not about the flower or the band. She had been clinging onto the peaceful stage of her relationship for too long and has been ignoring this ongoing bully her mom doing to Aladdin. Any relationship would encounter challenges and hurdles. Seeing Aladdin standing up to her mom made her see the man she is marrying, different from the Aladdin in their calm relationship, more than the one she felt in love with at the first place.

After fitting the ring they sat down for a coffee, stirring her mug she realise they had moved into a new stage. She don't know what's going to happen, but she is looking forward for it.
