It was when Wicked was still in uni, college as per other countries, she had an affair with a married man, it wasn't big drama like husband left wife, wife chased the other woman downstair and broke her tooth, It was simply at one point in time, Wicked grew out of it and their affair faded away.
Last year Wicked caught up with him and his wife for lunch (she seemed she never knew), it was the first time Wicked ever met his wife, she was beautiful and successful, Wicked wonder why wasn't him satisfied? Since the end of their affair, she had been having plenty of fun with plenty of unmarried men (as much as she know), she moved on, and she is in a REALationship now.
Out of coincidence Wicked bump into this man on the street a few days back, they went back to the cafe where they used to pass time at. When you're not having sex with a person, everything looks different, the menu, the staff, a small part remains the same, but everything else moved on.
Wicked felt it was great to see how much she grew, she became more independent and chasing her dreams her way; he moved to a better position at work but still having affairs with different women. In fact, he wants to divorce his wife, they had been sleeping in separate bedroom for months now, and he know she had been cheating as much as he is.
For Wicked, not just she is the bitch, she was also the sin for her past affair with him, perhaps it safe to say she was not in position to give him advice, but for old time sake, she told him to talk to his wife. Because for her, it is about finding out if a relationship worth having or not, its not about sharing a place with someone and feeling nothing, flatmates only need to sign a lease together, not a wedding paper.
Sometime cheating is when you find out you have STI when you're in a monogamist relationship (as you both started STI-free). How about the grey areas? Kissing? Flirting? taking compliments which can be 1st stage of flirting? And more importantly, turning a lived-in relationship into a flatmate relationship? Would that be the ultimate waste of time than staying single and take chances?
Wicked found a better man (and much younger... yeah!), but she is improving. And interestingly, she rather wish him well and have everything sorted out in the future. Maybe next time when they caught up, they will both be happy in their own way.
